 "Aircraft
is a compund word from art and craft. The art project is dealing
with the relationship between these two elements, precisely with the
question when the craft becomes art and vice versa, when the art
becomes a craft. The project itself consists of two separate
parts.The first is installation in space, composed from hanging
paper patterns for man costumes around one sewer model. It deals
with creating three dimensional space from many two dimensional
element on the same way and principle the textile parts make a
costume.
The second part of the exhibition is in fact a short film, which,
using the modern technology turns the threedimensional reality into
twodimensional picture. The film is a long succession of expresive
visual moments following the life of one sewer model in different
places and situations, and in a subtle way narrates about the
concerns before the extinction of the traditional handcrafts, here
and now. The film was shot by Aleksandar Hristoski and won a special
award for artistic achievement in documentary film at the "Brothers
manaki" film festival in Bitola, in the short films competition.
