Presentation of Irena
Paskali's videos will be held in "Tocka" Cultural Center in
the period between 06.05. - 14.05.2004. Projections will be
held every day (exept Sunday) in 12.00; 15.00 and 18.00. |
Irena Paskali is born 1969 in Ohrid, Macedonia. 1995
graduated from the Faculty of Natural Science in Skopje. 2000
graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Skopje, at the class of
prof. Stanko Pavleski. Until now she has realized 13 solo
exhibitions (Skopje/Macedonia, Vassa/Finland, Veimar/Germany,
Belgrade/Serbia & Montenegro, Mostar/Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Sofia/Bulgarija). Participated at many group exhibitions, festivals
and artist in residence programs in Macedonia and abroad. Awards:
Gipuzkoa (Spain), Di-Da web (2001); Kicevo (Macedonia), !st award
for experimental film on 32nd State festival on nonprofesional film
(2003); Skopje, 6. Biennial of young artists, Museum of Contemporary
Art (2003); London (GBR), "Halowen Film Festival", Institute for
Contemporary Arts, short films on the theme "The derellict
Sensation" 3rd Pangaea Award.
