from the review:
"... One of the questions that appear to be
of primary importance in creating and risking with such a product,
in our view crucial for a campaign, is - why a child's language? Why
images? Why simplified narration, instead of very smart slogan?

The picture book Something
Else is the first publication in the new edition of the NGO
Kontrapunkt and the Publishing House "Templum" called
"In five o'clock at the merry-go-round ". This edition
would be sketched with publications for the youngest, picture books
from different world authors, dealing with themes that develop the
awareness for free, individual thinking, experiencing, accepting and
compassion with the world. These picture books, with their messages
and top graphic and visual design could be relevant not only for the
youngest but to people from all ages as far as the ethics of the
individuals and the collectivity is concerned.
Something Else
is precisely such example. It fills perfectly with the objectives of
our project "Confluent Margins" which deals with
affirmation of diversity, acceptance and promotion of integrative
initiatives. Something Else is publication with many rewards
and has been translated into many languages. We believe that this
picture book with its subtleness and openness regarding the delicate
issue of Otherness would be of equal interest to young and to grown
up persons.
