Mirce Donevski
Recently, Macedonian alternative scene lost one of its most complex representatives. Mirce Donevski, actor, essayist, charismatic leader, musician, cosmopolitan... Mirce Donevski acted like spiritual initiator, and also as a creative person that has left many works behind himself. As an artist and as a public person he introduced the artistic experiment and also the progressive ideas in our reality - cultural and political one. He was always clever minded and with unmistakable feeling for artistic and existential truth. His presence on the underground scene in this city and this country was crucial. He was the first graduated actor who went into creative game (sometimes long and exhausting) with the alternative artistic structures, and he involved a whole group of important artists in this experiment of creating parallel cultural production.
In this issue we publish one of his last texts Globalization and ethnicization, written only few months before his tragic death.
